Water Wars

Water Wars continue to be pivotal milestones in history

The Mesopotamian civilization imploded into extinction over water disputes.
Israel is threatening Lebanon with “military action” if it’s villagers use water from the Hesbiani River.
Our destruction of Iraq’s, formerly Mespopotamia’s water delivery system is fueling the bloody dispute over water between the Turks and Serbians insuring instability throughout the region for centuries.
Israelis receive 280 liters of water per day while Palestinians receive 60 liters of water per day.

  Absence of safe drinking water is the cause of 80% of disease and death in the developing world. “The world’s population will double in the next 40 years, while the water supply remains constant,” Senator Paul Simon, leading inevitably to conflict on a global scale. Closer to home, Florida, Alabama and Georgia are currently in litigation over water rights.
