Water Purification

 

Global Pandemic of Polluted Water

As previously mentioned, – eight children are killed every minute of every day by polluted water; further — one million children are blinded by ring worm each year. To help the ICRC alleviate the impact of polluted water, Proctor and Gamble has partnered with the foundation to supply a chemical compound to purify and clarify polluted water at a cost of 1 cent per gallon – something we were unable to accomplish here at Stanford.
